""Really Good writing!!""

Right off, this CD is different from most of the others that come out in this area. And I really like "Origin/Ascension" and "Threshold". This is really good writing and professionally played. I will write a more in-depth review and post it on the Arizona Nightbuzz website very soon. - Editor, Arizona Nightbuzz

""Play my club anytime!""

"You guys can play my club anytime!!! "Threshold" sounds like a soundtrack to an action movie or video game.....very cool. "Believe" rocks too.....really cool stuff on here. Come back to Chicago---we miss you. Keep rockin'!" - Scott Thompson, Club Owner, Chicago

""High Quality Stuff""

Your music is quite good and I'm sure you have received favorable reviews since it is high quality stuff. It is obvious you are very passionate about music and that is quite admirable. Best of luck with your musis. - Jay Anderson, POPBAND Radio

""Songs are fresh & yet reminiscent""

Rockin' keyboards. "World of Differnce" and "Reason" stand out as two of the songs I likes best. You've added the return of tasteful keyboard lines into the rock genre. Your songs are fresh and yet reminiscent of Bruce Hornsby, Rush, Tubes and even Marillion!!! Please let me know when and where can I hear more from you??? - Joe Halloran, Professional pianist

""Great songs, all of them!!""

Wow....great songs, all of them!! Very classy. Refreshing to hear keyboards in songs. Add my vocals and this would be over the top. You should know that you (BC) have always been a major influence to me musically and this shows why." Great stuff. Best of luck. - Dannie Schramm, Recording artist

""A SOLID PERFORMANCE""

I like singer/songwriter stuff. This CD 'Center of Gravity", is a solid performance and a good delivering of rock and roll. Good Job!! - Chita, KLPX Asst Prog. Dir.

""Solid Potential""

On this debut CD from the BC Priest Band, I see solid potential and several nice highlights. The recording quality is strong and so is the musicianship--there's clearly talent here. - Dr Foley, Foley Entertainment Firm

"Congrats on your album!!"

It's guitar-based rock with a somewhat 80's rock aesthetic mixed together with a more current alt rock feel. There are a lot of things on this disc that I like--some of the happier sounding songs/passages are probably great for getting folks up and moving in the clubs! The vocal style reminds me a little bit of David Gilmour, being breathy and ethereal. - Dave Gastambice, Producer/composer/artist

"'Music that beams you into space!""

I just got your CD! WOW!!! I like your songs a lot. Really terrific music that makes my heart rock...that's music that beams you into space...congratulations and wish you all the success you deserve. - Manuela Roigk, Web artist/photographer from Berlin

"Excellent writing and production"

"Center of Gravity" has a strong rock influence with a strong Pop foundation. The title is a perfect choice. The vocals do a good job selling the song with emotion. The composition is extremely original and magnificently arranged and played. Excellent Song.
"Love of Gold" lyrics are sensual and extremely well worded, with a magnificent flow; the music has a strong Pop appeal that the listener won't be able to get enough of. The composition is potent and lively and the melodies are outstanding, as well as the arrangement...this song is wonderful, as it is. A few minor adjustments will put this song over the top and give it true hit potential!
"Miles Away" has poignant and inspirational lyrics; the music has a strong rhythm and flow with a very catchy element. The melodies are simple but catchy and fit the song well and the structure is well arranged. This is a good upbeat song and is very listenable. - Entertainment Journalist for Song of the Year Critique board

Bio

[**SEE PRESS BELOW BIO's]

The BC Priest Band officially formed in 2004 but collectively represent over MANY years of stage experience. BC started playing guitar at age 13 and was writing songs a year later. His mother, a classical pianist, influenced his love for the keyboards and he incorporated that element into songs in his larger catalog. A brief stint in the army introduced him to the acoustic guitar and he wrote and continues to write songs with acoustic flavors. He has come to appreciate and love many styles and genres of music and to this date, has over 400 songs in various categories, although rock n' roll remains his favorite.

The BC Priest Band is composed of veteran players to the club scene. BC 'Blueman' Priest is founder and principal ringleader of the circus they call a band, with over 500 shows under his belt.

The band is tighter than a keg of whiskey in rehearsal and performances, showing their sense of humor, and put on a great live show. They truly enjoy entertaining and making music ( & brownies) for a wide array of listeners.

“It’s guitar-based rock with a somewhat ‘80s rock aesthetic mixed together with a more current alt rock feel. My favorites are probably the first three tracks. “Origin/Ascension” is a great opener, vaguely reminiscent of Eric Johnson…..nice way to start the CD. I really like the sinister feel and infectious groove of “Threshold.” Really good track.
