Feeling a bit camera shy

BEAM has been together with its present line-up for over a year. The band has had a few personnel changes over the past five years; the most recent change was the addition of drummer, Andrei Cheroff, and then later, the addition of Matthew Crist. The chemistry of the band reacted with great acceptance to this change. After only one year BEAM has completed over 14 compositions to put down on a full-length CD. The material is fresh and fervently delivered with powerful grooves being the inspiration and foundation for positive ideas lyrically, to take root.

In response to this change in sound and attitude, Parasite Records has signed BEAM to a recording contract. BEAM recorded a demo for the label to acquire a producer. During this process, the label contacted Beam with the news of a very well known producer who is very interested in working with the band. His name is Terry Brown. Mr. Brown is a veteran in the music industry with over 30-years experience, and several chart-topping titles to his credit. All of the artists and titles have sold countless millions of copies, and several awards have been issued. For a producer of such distinction to express interest in a band is not an everyday occurrence. BEAM feels blessed and grateful to be in its current position. Mr. Brown's name on the product itself ensures the big push that a project of this nature requires for the greatest success possible.

The Band and Beliefs

Truth and freedom of expression are at the forefront of BEAM's beliefs, experiences in life and love and being true to one's self and others creates inspiration for the music. The band thrives on the vibes of one another, and especially on the vibes of live performances. Members of BEAM believe in honesty. This is the way they choose to live, and this is the way that they choose others to be around. BEAM believes in contributing to the positive nature of people and life rather than the negative in every experience life presents. It is not easy.

Each member's musical style reflects each individual personality and ultimately reflects the Band's nature as a whole. Live performances are how BEAM really gets off.
