Bio
BEANOIR (aka Beanie Bhebhe) is a multi-instrumentalist who has worked with many artists as diverse as noise-rockers ACTION BEAT and ORION ARM , pop/dance acts GABRIELLA CILMI, YADI, RUDIMENTAL, and indie/soul outfit VARIOUS CRUELTIES. His lush ethereal soundscapes hint at music that he regards highly, shoegaze and dreampop sounds from such bands as Apollo Heights, A.R Kane, Cocteau Twins, Astrobrite, This Mortal Coil,Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine. Call it 'soul-gaze' if you like...
Following his debut show opening a sold out Union Chapel supporting Liam Bailey, Maverick Sabre, Delilah and Tom Odell, Beanoir has been attracting attention from across the industry. This attention increased following his first headline show at The Macbeth, Shoreditch, in early February.
Since the Union Chapel show, Beanoir has been in the studio writing and recording (with Ben Humphries, Rudimental; and Henry Bowers-Broadbent, Kula Shaker) what will be his debut single, Cotton Wool, and debut EP, both due for a spring 2013 release.
