Beast Music is a Toronto-based Post-Punk band creating something unique.

Featuring vocalist/guitarist Frances Gregory, guitarist Jim Marchment, bassist Benaconda, drummer/vocalist Mike Gribben, saxophone player Brady Kleinschroth, and Ingrid Webster on synth, Beast Music is an inter-generational band mixing skilled musicians with the unadulterated panic of youth.

Playing everything from punk anthems to death disco, this band is completely unhinged.

Thematically their music is about overcoming grief, the distinction between joy and pleasure, and what it is to walk that line and how it feels to fall off the edge. Standing behind the feminist message, Beast Music knows that women can be as abrasive, passionate and punk rock as any man. On stage Frances begs the audience to feel the rage and sorrow created by being a young woman in a world that lunges at you.

Their debut album Darkness Only Knows touches on how these challenges relate to life in the city and how embracing darkness may be the key to overcoming it.

Beast Music wants to be a voice to those who have experienced pain, addiction, violence, and fear and ultimately help the audience to discover the beast inside themselves.
