The best kept secret in music

I saw Beata and the band perform at the 12 Eastern blues festival in Potsdam Berlin Germany in November 04, 2004 and was quite blown away by her playing . After two days trawling through the CD stores on the net I eventually came across CD BABY and there was the CD it took me all of one second to decide to purchace it at any cost . The wait for delivery was almost unbearable but well worth it as the music is fantastic and the second disk with the cd rom movie files is also very good to see Beata again leaping all over the stage and playing her various harmonicas brought back very fond memories .

Beata is a self-born harmonica talent! She plays with her band the very own music, composed of Polish Folk, rock, blues and jazz with funky drive. Since her first apperance at Millenium Harmonica2000 Festival in Bournemouth, U.K. her career went rocketing. Beata with LeBlue play as a Special Guest Star at many prestigious Festivals all over the Europe and U.S. She is a HOHNER's "face", promoting harmonicas of HOHNER at International Faires. Also Piotr Maciak, LeBlue's leader and guitarist was choosen by HOHNER to promote his guitars, and by La Bella Company to promothe their's famous guitar strings. Beata with LeBlue recorded "The Farm" album in 2002 (in London, U.K. for H.H.O.Ltd)and now they are in studio recording their second album for UNIVERSAL Music.
The unique technic of Beata on harmonica was appreciated by such a Stars like Howard Levy, Jean Jacques Milteau, Claude Garden, Jean "Toots" Tillemans, Gerhard Mueller and others. Beata is among great international Stars recorded at HOHNER's harmonicas demo-CD, as a best player at the modell "Pro Harp MS". They took a part in Interantional Blues Challenge 2006, Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.A. with fantastic comments: Beata was described as "The best harmonica ever heard" by jury members and the band as "Great, with international sound". Beata Kossowska is one of the 12 HOHNER's International Harmonica Stars listed in last HOHNER harmonicas catalogue, together with Charlie Musselwhite, Toots Thielemans, Steve Baker, Keith Dunn, J.J.Milteau and others.
