The best kept secret in music

"Goth-synth mix"

The electric beat in the background makes this track. This Goth-inspired tune may make you take the final step of the cliff.
Nicely depressing in its own way. Usually it is difficult to make a truly down-beat song with a fast bpm like this, but this is an excellent example.

"Dark and Heavy"

Oh this was a cool song. Very dark and heavy, but yet there was funkyness about it. This song would be easy to dance too, or just sit back and chill too.
The rhythm of the song was great, the simple driving drum beat allowed the choppy distorted guitar to carry the groove of the song.
I really like the over all sound of the song, and the instrumentation used.

"I'm hypnotised!"

Very interesting sound. Everything sounds really crisp, me likey.
The break before the chorus is quite neat! Good production ideas throughout the song (I like all the little percusive sounds that come in and out).
The singer has a cool voice, the rap part was well done (not everybody can pull this off)
All through the song, I really enjoyed the way you guys handle acoustic vs electronic sounds, kudos!
The mood of this song is intriguing, dark and strangely uplifting.
The piano is a good idea.
The guitar solo towards the end sounds nice. It's not too much, it's just enough.
Cool song! The absence of a chorus doesn't matter here since it's all about mood and build-up.

Far Away From Home... The E.P.

Feeling a bit camera shy

To Whom It May Concern:

In this life we all are searching; looking for something to define us. We all have different upbringings, backgrounds, and lifestyles that lead us in certain directions in our lives. But to step out and try to do something totally different from what everyone expects you to do, can be a challenge within itself. It’s by design that our society somehow tells us that you must be in this line, box, and/or category. But you see, I am my own person-- I can’t be put in a category. Beat Assassins was started from this one belief.

In mid-summer 2003, I became so frustrated with producing the same generic R&B/Hip-Hop songs. After awhile-- it just made me go numb, and the insecurities of changing, were always constantly lurking in the back of my mind. What will they think? What will they say about me? Will they accept this? But as time went by and life continued, my conscience forced me to just say…”F*ck It!”

Just do it! You only got one life. Not everyone’s going to like you and not everyone going to feel you!!! You have to do this!!

So I did it, and this is what you got. Beat Assassins…. Far Away from Home The E.P.

This is my new journey.

I’m ready.
