BeatauCue praised by Kylie Minogue for their remix of "Get Outta My Way" - On Twitter

"French duo BeatauCue have made their way in many a DJ’s playlist in recent months thanks to a blitz of remixes for the likes of Noob & Brodinski, Sound of Stereo and Solo. Their sound is easily recognizable: big booming kicks, tribal drums patterns and bouncy, demented synth leads." ?A-Trak - www.djatrak.com - djatrak.com

"How will the hybridization of genre fair in 2011? Let's hope it stands if things like this Eumig & Chinon remix of Beataucue's "Disque Oh!" exists. If you're familiar with the blissed out francolectro of the original, you'll notice it's still intact here, but with unwonted elements garnishing the whole— the sonically throbbing heavy bass of dubstep married with the spirit and sound of 1970s psychedelic dance music (disco!). But that's what makes Eumig & Chinon themselves, their ability to smack those two things into one. Britain meets New York City, but beget of Copenhagen. But it's not just E&C's knack for reinvention that makes the tune. Beataucue has crafted something that invites other DJs and producers to try their hand at outfitting it in their style. You can check out the original, as well as more remixes from Don Rimini and Buraka Som Sistema's J-Wow on the Disque Oh! EP out now on Kitsune."

"Beataucue are French electronic duo Alex and Mederic who started making eclectic dance beats out of their bedrooms and are now played in clubs all over the world. Having remixed for the likes of pals Boys Noize, Brodinski & Noob and even Kylie Minogue, who is apparently hooked on their sound. Beataucue have released a selection of their disco-tastic tracks on the internet with support from the blogosphere and big name DJs like Crookers and Armand Van Helden."
Nathalie Lasance – www.DazedDigital.com - Dazed Digital

"In some ways BeatauCue is much like the all-seeing eye. The list of people that they’ve remixed is extensive, long and sometimes ridiculous–in a good way, of course. Not many people have remixed everyone from Brodinski & Noob; Two Door Cinema Club; Kylie Minogue; Armand Van Helden & Steve Aoki; Yelle and all without having released much original work themselves. BeatauCue is mostly known in Europe and some people here know of their work more than their name but like the all-seeing eye, they are hanging above what they helped to recreate. You can catch their second EP Falcon Punch out on Kitsuné out July 4th and their first North American tour in October."

Bio

Mederic and Alexis are made of electricity and can be considered as the sons of electronic music. These two French guys from the Normandy countryside started producing music at home in their bedroom, in Caen.
They first hit the danse floor with remixes of the likes of Brodinski & Noob – Peanuts Club and Major Lazer – Pon De Floor and we bet you’ll be crushed by their fresh and screamy productions.
Then, in less than a year they remixed Boys Noize, Two Door Cinema Club, Kylie Minogue, Designer Drugs, Armand Van Helden & Steve Aoki and many more. So in addition to getting great support, they’re also regularly playlisted by Crookers, Cassius, Armand Van Helden, Steve Aoki, Diplo, Erol Alkan, Fake Blood, Brodinski, Skrillex, A-Trak and others... The famous French rock band « Pony Pony Run Run » also played the remix they did for them in there aftershow DJ Set.
Their debut EP was released April 2010 on Kitsuné.
The remix they made of Kylie Minogue’s Get Outta My Way got great feedback from Kylie herself... She said she love it on her twitter. Their remix of Stevie Wonder – Superstition (Two Door Cinema Club cover) is the jingle of famous French daily TV Show « Le Grand Journal » on Canal+ since September 2010. Their new track « Disque Oh ! » is featured on the Kitsuné Maison 10 compilation with also Digitalism, Yelle, Two Door Cinema Club or Blackstrobe. Yes, the famous one, past editions featured Klaxons, Phoenix, Soulwax, MIA, La Roux, Crookers and many more... And to spin in out a bit, « Disque Oh !» was release with 5 exclusive remixes (Don Rimini, J-Wow from Buraka Som Sistema, High Rankin,...) as a single early 2011 also on Kitsuné !
Back in the studio, their track "Behold" was released on the "Kitsuné Parisien" compilation last winter and lot of remixes have followed : Yelle, The Subs, Don Rimini, Adrian Lux (on Ultra Records) and much more to come. Next step : their 2nd EP "Falcon Punch", expected to be released next july...
