Beat Connection was founded as an escape from bummer academic formalism by Reed Juenger & Jordan Koplowitz. Began as a house party dj group they expanded into a live band following the free bandcamp release of Surf Noir in summer of 2010. Blending the experimental edge of bands like Animal Collective and chillwave tendencies with the more dance oriented pop of groups like Cut Copy and Daft Punk signed with Tender Age records an imprint of venerable UK label Moshi Moshi to release their music to a larger audience. They are now joined live by vocalist Tom Eddy and drummer Jarred Katz and are hard at work on their debut album.
