Beatrice - Vocalist, cellist, electronic producer…

Current Project
• Beatrice – Voice, Cello and Electronic Production.
Beatrice is a unique producer who, after two years of performance and production experience, is in the final stages of recording an EP with DJ Soup (MISO/EDITOR/CUMBIA COSMONAUGHTS). Bearice’s live performance involves ableton live and a MIDI foot switch pedal to loop voice, cello and beats. She uses effects to build soundscapes which are accompanied by synth and electronic sounds (Dave Williams - MISO/PAPA CHANGO), vocal harmonies and vocal percussion (Supina Bytol - MISO)and strings (Indiana Avent – LAMPLIGHT.) Beatrice has been performing throughout Melbourne for the past two years. The 2010/2011 Festival season will see Beatrice performing at Folk, Rhythm & Life (Victoria) and The Peats Ridge Festival (NSW) – following with an East Coast tour and album launch in Febuary 2011.

Past projects include

• Chef de Mission – Cello and Voice.
Beatrice provided cello and vocal harmonies, looped with effects to create a deep textured element to a slow and ethereal rock band.

Instrumental collective performing throughout Melbourne’s alternative art scene creating soundscapes for film, live performance and art exhibitions. Beatrice provided cello and production on albums.
