Bio
With a fantastic interpretation Beatriz Aguiar recreates the rhythms of Latin America. She carries her folklore with energy, passion and warmth. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, discovered in Holland a whole new Universe of cultures.
Singer and composer, she has participated in many musical events around the world.
She has recorded in New York with Adalberto Santiago, for David Rothchilds cd Looking up. Recorded and composed on Laura Fygis The Latin Touch.
In Havana Cuba, she recorded a duet with the world famous cuban singer Isaac Delgado, for Rumbatas Patria y Bandera cd.
Her new cd Nomade featuring Leonardo Amuedo on guitar, Cuban pianist Ramon Valle, and Filippo Gambetta from Genova on diathonic accordion, was presented at the Bimhuis on May 2012, with Riccardo Tesi as special guest on accordion.
