Bio
Beau is an alternative rock singer-songwriter hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. His diverse and prolific collection of songs have been described as "electrifying," "haunting," "classic" and "adventurous." With nods to an eclectic array of alt-rock sub-genres, Beau imbues his sound with an aura of true originality all the while nodding to a visionary assemblage of influences who include David Bowie, Morrissey and The Smiths, Radiohead, REM, The Cure, Joy Division, Tori Amos, Love, Television, The Doors, Velvet Underground, Blonde Redhead and Roxy Music. Some of the themes flowing throughout his work include alienation, social disorder, the esoteric, alternate realities, death, totalitarianism, existentialism, fashion, spirituality, sanity, sex, decadence, love, betrayal, disillusionment and escape. Many tunes among his nearly 200 song catalog could be considered protest songs: "The Decline & Fall Of The Holy Roman Empire," "The Holy Land," "Mass Hysteria," and "From A View" were all written throughout that last 7 years of Bush and"In The Carnage" was written last month in memorium to the victims of the Virginia State Massacre. Beau's ultimate goal is for his music to transcend and heal so many wounded souls.
