"Central Oregons - Best Street Performer"

His grin is wide. His eyes twinkle. He has mad guitar skills, a voice that is as refined as Amos Lee, and is a genuinely nice guy. Mike Martinez, 24, is one of those perfomers who wants you to, above all, feel good. Never flashy or over the top, Mike's songs conjure that laid-back romanticism that is summertime in Bend. Playing guitar and singing since he was 19, Martinez began his career seranading pedestrians in the Breezeway about a year ago, and has recently moved up to playing regular gigs outside staccato, the Taco Shop, Scanlons, JC's, and the Martini Bar. He takes requests, too. "This woman set up this amazing candlelit dinner for her husband and I sat just behing them and played love songs for two hours," Martinez explains. "It was an honor to have even been asked to do this. I've played at wedding and stuff. But this was just really special and intimate. There is no greater feeling than making people happy just by doing what you love to do." (KAT) - The Source

Bio

I love all music. There are to many amazing musicians who have inspired me over the years to name them all.

I can't listen or play just one type of genre for to long. I love change. So i try to write as many differnet types of songs as humanily possible. So far i've written just over 100 songs. So I would like to think i have a song for everyone.
Randomness is a beautiful thing.
I wake up each day and can't help but smile and thank God for giving me such a beautiful life. I have lost so much in my life... So i try my best to never take anything for granted.
Honestly, Im not the Greatest musician who ever lived. But i have had thousands of peple tell me they love my music. And my dream is to just keep sharing my music with people for the rest of my life.
