This five piece band of multi-talented musicians and producers are waking up the Dallas-Ft Worth scene with their 3 song EP. Its a mix of smooth R&B and hip hop with stick beats provided by Jaquita Jones.
They're really funny too, as evidenced in the track 'Joe Jackson,' done in the style of Michael Jackson. They sing " you want to come talk to me? But unfortunately, all I hear is blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah." On the song 'I Got U,' Cherish Love shows off her truly lovely voice that's full of soulful authenticity.

There hasn't been an ALL GIRL BAND since KLYMAXX. Well the wait is over. DFW's NEWEST ALL GIRL BAND "BEAUTY & THE BEATS" is here!! BEAUTY & THE BEATS is strategically composed of 5 All-Star Female musicians, singers, producers, etc!! Yes, you've read correctly--They ALL play more than 1 instrument, write songs, produce music. Dallas natives Cherish Love (keys/vocals) & Wanda Coleman (bass/vocals...), Ft. Worth native NaTasha "Ms.Music" Rogers (synths/vocals/talkbox), Oakland, CA. native Porsche Smith (guitar,vocals), and Arlington native Jaquita Jones (drummer) have all come together to bring the world smooth-n-sexy, funky-n-fresh, melodious vibes back to the mainstream!!
Over the years, they have individually toured, played, and opened up with several national artists. Grammy Award winning Artists such as Erykah Badu, The Roots, Bilal, Jill Scott, Ralph Tresvant, George Huff, Yarbrough & Peoples, PJ Morton, Ted & Sheri, Marvin Sapp, YahZarah, Candy West, John Legend, Carmen Rodgers, India.Arie, Bobby Brown, & Mint Condition have all had their individual share of Beauty & The Beats.
These multi-talented women aren't signed to a label yet, and is currently in the studio recording on their debut album, "BELLES OF THE BALL", which will be released soon.
