"Movin' On" is Beauwater's first full length album. Song's from the album are currently featured on 97.5 K-Rock's "under the influence" show, Local Radio stations in St.john's, Newfoundland, and the band have also appeared on the "out of the fog" program on rogers tv to perform and promote their album. The band has also been mentioned in several local newspapers including "the scope" and interviews in their local telegram newspaper.

Beauwater so far, has 3 Music NL nominations for their first album "Movin' On" , and are hopeful for other award opportunities in the upcoming year. They continue to write new material for their second studio album.

Bio

Fuzing a modern hard-rock edge with a vintage blues core, Beauwater creates an uncompromising, yet catchy sound, that refuses to be forgotten. Based out of St. John's, Newfoundland, the group strives to deliver a top-notch performance both on the stage and in the studio. Bringing with them a plethora of original material ranging from the groovy to the eerie, they incorporate the influence of decades of blues and rock into a cutting-edge sound that holds it's own amongst today's popular music.

The band consists of Jonathon Reid on lead guitar and vocals, Greg Newhook on Bass, and Guitars, and Michael Maddox on the drums. All four members passionate, and stand by their influences, and it shows when they release their influences through their writing together throughout the years.

With years of hard work and performance and industry experience under their belts, they've shared the stage with acts spanning several varying genres, and have pleased crowds of all shapes and sizes. Having seen the highs and lows of the business first-hand, they know the importance of staying headstrong and true to their roots, and refuse to compromise or sacrifice quality at any cost.
