Becca and the Blancos

Becca and the Blancos started in November 2010, during a booze induced escapade between long time friends Mich and Rebecca. Within the first three months of existence, the pair had written and recorded over twenty distinctly individual songs. In April 2011, due to growing popularity, Mich and Becca convinced long time pals to perform with their duo for their first full band show. By late June 2010, all the members decided to leave everything behind in order to expose the new band's unique sound to the rest of the Southeastern United States. Even though the band is still very young in its existence, they were eager to take a hiatus from performances to finish writing and recording new songs that incorporate the many talents of the entire band as one cohesive unit. Keep an eye out for their future appearances, to witness their development and success as one of Austin's fresh-faced new bands.
