Biography

Becca and the Push came together in Mt. Pleasant, SC in January 2010 to rescue the singer/songwriter genre from self indulgency and flat out boredom. Singer/songwriter, Becca Bessinger is both haunting (as in "Move On," a plea to the abused to leave her abuser) and outrageously humorous (as in "Teddy," the tale of a stuffed bear that is mutilated by a dog). The band consists of Tim Gorman - drums, Tim Brennan - bass, Aaron Levy - guitar/vocals. Together they deliver an alt/country/folk musical package that is full of harmony, emotion, beauty and grit.
