"Richter Dazzling Under Spotlight"

"Richter Dazzling Under Spotlight! Becca sang her hit song, "Little Things" at the Distinguished Young Women competition. She said most of her songs are about events that have happened in here life, about personal experiences with boys or about hardships she's overcome. Some of her songs she explained come to her at all times of the day. For example, "The Ground I Walk On," she said came to her while sleeping. With her busy summer coming to a close, Becca is now thinking about college. Her top choices are Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., and the University of Mobile in Alabama. For now, though, she'll continue doing the juggling act. On one hand, she'll attend school with her two younger brothers at North this fall. Then she'll change roles and put her singing outfits on, get her guitar out and travel the state and country. "I want to be a singer and songwriter, so it's good getting my name out there," Becca said. "But I definitely won't change as a person."" - Waukesha Now, Milwaukee Journal
