Bio
Growing up in rural Nottinghamshire, England, Beck Goldsmith began writing and performing music in her early teens. Drawing influences from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Carole King and Van Morrison, Beck’s striking vocals and talent for songwriting soon won the affection and attention of a wide-reaching audience. Ten years on, Beck has her own label – Elk Road Records – and releases her recordings independently. Her debut album "Purely Second Guesses" is a collection of beautifully crafted songs that capture the imagination and move the listener. Her live performances are polished and captivating and, whether solo or with accompaniment from a range of instrumentalists including full band and strings, are always a cut above!
