Becky Abbott is a jazz/blues/pop vocalist of the highest caliber, and is a fixture in the winner's circle in Ottawa vocal competitions.

Becky is backed on piano by Larry Tarof, who accompanies more than 100 people per year, has serious chops and produces independent CDs thru Dr L's Music. Larry was recently profiled on the show "Regional Contact" in Ottawa on CJOH, a CTV-affiliate.

The sound is rounded out for the trio by Carlo Maragno on drums. Carlo plays with a number of Ottawa groups and is in demand as a session drummer.

"I'm blown away" said Farley Flex when Becky appeared on CTV's Canadian Idol singing "Moondance", a performance which is still talked about.

You never forget Becky's voice. And you don't often hear versatile piano that's its own orchestra. Influences are Ella Fitzgerald, Alicia Keys, John Legend and other great jazz artists.
