Bio
Levi sings with a voice that sets audiences on fire with stories old and new.
Her love for traditional music took her to Southwest Virginia and the deserts of West Africa where she immersed herself in studying roots music. In 2015, she performed and recorded with Chicago folk band Glass Mountain, sharing the stage with Frank Fairfield, Larry Keel Experience and Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys. Also in 2015,
she teamed up with Chicago’s infamous Jim Becker to create an exclusive original soundtrack for Chicago Feature Film, Dead Draw. Becker and Levi have a passion for both traditional and modern music along with a talent for producing authentic recordings to match the sounds of the 1950's. With their vintage recording techniques, musicianship, and a little help from some of Chicago’s best players these two mastered songs with an early country sound. Together, they set the stage for Dead Draw’s Spaghetti Western tone in modern day life.
