Bio
Becky's music has been influenced by the likes of Lucinda Williams, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers, Bob Dylan and Linda Ronstadt, among many. Becky has an ability to communicate feelings and emotions in song that make the listener want to hear more. Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Becky was influenced by the warm environment and the the surf and sand sounds such as the Beach Boys and Katrina and the Waves. As a young teen she would sneak into the blues venues to catch the blues greats such as B.B. King, Etta James, Coco Taylor and Big Mama Thornton. She packed up and moved to the Pacific Northwest recently and the music in this area has greatly influenced her music, making it even more real and inviting. Becky is the type of person who loves people and they love her. She's a people watcher, seeing a story and a song everywhere she goes.
