Bedrock Radio

Bedrock Radio officially went on the air with its current lineup and wealth of original music in the spring of 2012. The band features Josh Monfredini and Brad Bryant on guitars, Michael Perez on drums and Dan Stanton on bass.  The core of Bedrock Radio's sound is the songwriting and lead vocal of Josh Monfredini. He impeccably blends his influences across genres in a way that is very accessable to the audience. The level of musicality is broadened by the jazz and funk influences of bassist Dan Stanton and drummer Michael Perez who are always tied to idea that if it doesn't groove--- it ain't nothing! With great songs and grooves going on all that is left is the need for some interesting lead work, which is no problem for Bedrock Radio. With two guitarists ready to soar above the groove by way of crunchy warm solos and a bassist that knows how to fly too this band can out jam the best of them. 

Bedrock Radio have done their homework and paid some serious dues--- Brad has been studying at the university of Ron Thompson, while Josh and Mike have been performing in a variety of bands in the Bay Area music scene for years, in fact Mike actually made a decent living out of music back in the 19th century with the Violet Fox Band!  Dan comes bathed in the blues from Florida, been schooled in all things bass by Steve Bailey and Gary Willis and has produced and released 3 solo cds.  Together this band brings a wide variety of influences together in a certifiably funky way.

Bedrock Radio is scheduled to release their Debut CD in February of 2015 and is currently planning dates on the road to support this release.
