Bees?

Bees? is the result of the desire for collaboration between musicians coming from all different sides of the musical spectrum. Starting a year and a half ago with different personnel in the rhythm section, Bees? has gone from a side project to an endeavor at the forefront of our musical focus. With the music being written
by three different members (Ahearn, Herring, Euard), both collaboratively and independently, a plethora of sounds is generated in performances that can fit into the
realm of Snarky Puppy and Dynamo, but also remains separate from that categorization, focusing more on the energetic and reckless aspects of the musical experience.
This is music for dancing, head banging, awkwardly twisting, thinking, standing, crying, and actually whatever else one would feel the need to do. The engineers at The
Cellar Studio have said “listening to their music is...a journey,” and while all good music should achieve that notion, it’s a huge part of what the members of this band
focus on. Bees? wants to innovate, play everywhere, and we want to keep our sense of humor as well. The name was inspired from a “Cards Against Humanity” card,
later traced back to the show arrested development, reminding us not to take ourselves too seriously. So as one insect to another human would put it, are you ready to
be stung?
