Behind Buildings

Behind Buildings

BandRockAlternative

A powerful yet fun spacey sounding band. Often compared to many post-rock bands and mostly instrumental with some lyrics said in songs.

Biography

Behind Buildings started as Cameron Trevino's own musical project that was just him recording short jams on a computer mic and sharing them online. He played with several members for a short period of time and realized things weren't working out as he wanted them to which was in 2006. Cameron joined a band in early 2007 called "Desiderata" a Southern Hardcore band. The band went well until of August of 2007 Cameron was kicked out for musical differences. Cameron then teamed up with drummer/best friend Eric Sutherland to recreate what came first. They came up with 4 songs for their first show at their high school. After receiving a good performance review they decided to keep going. In December of '07 they recorded a 5 song demo professionally to share their music online. At the same time they added John Pepper to bass. They continued to play shows each month as much as they could for most of 2008. After winning $600 in a battle of the bands they decided to use that money for recording purposes. They headed into the studio again in January of '09 to record their full album "Wide Roads & Narrow Minds". They promoted their release through local shows and Hot Topic. Today the band is back at it at writing an EP for a more advanced and technical sound. They recently added band member Patrick Bray on rhythm guitar for this change in the bands sound.
