Behind the Wheat Grinder members include:
Vox: Caydin Bell
Lead Guitar: Chance Wilson
Rhythm Guitar: Blake Sharette
Bass: Nathan Budge
Drums: Chris Shimwell
The group all started in a little turkey farm town called Ephraim, Utah. Ephraim is home of Snow College which has a phenomenal music program partnered with Julliard School of Music. Every member of Behind the Wheat Grinder has graduated from Snow College and all but Caydin have graduated through this music program. Chance has since gone on to receive a Master's degree in Commercial Music and is currently recording our full length album titled, "Front Row View", which we hope to release later this year. Caydin is actually an engineer, Chris is studying music at Berklee in Boston, and Nathan has returned to Snow College to further his education in music. The only thing tying this clan together is Behind the Wheat Grinder and for good reason. This band is full of life that ties solid rock with pop punk in ways never heard before. Caydin has actually written all the music and while there are times that his influences such as, Bayside, In Her Own Words, Real Friends, Taking Back Sunday, and so many more, shine through the music, there are other times originality forms our riffs and choruses. Give us a listen. You won't regret it!
