VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – This summer Dream 21 Records introduced iTunes to local singer/song writer, Bekah Eden, a fresh young local performer fusing melodies with passions that carry her work across genre boundaries.
Bekah Eden is being recognized by country and pop music fans all along the East Coast who liken her style and tone to Taylor Swift and LeAnn Rimes, with performance similarities to Carrie Underwood and Sara Bareilles.
Her integrity, depth and presence as a performer, give her sound a warm, honeyed quality listeners will come back to again and again for comfort, strength and the heat of passion.

Married to nationally known Sailor/Instructor David Tunnicliffe, Beckah Eden channels the intensity of her personal passion and joy directly into her music and the result is the perfect harmonic storm.
With nearly two decades of musical experience, this twenty-something has invested her energy and convictions into all of her creative endeavors. Her work merges string instruments and keyboard in a debut album, appropriately entitled Unexpected (available December 2010 DREAM 21 MUSIC).

Bio
At a very young age I dreamed of writing music that would touch nations. My love for music was instantaneous. I remember my Mother showing me a picture of myself playing at the piano at age two. I didn’t start actively songwriting until I was in college. My life dramatically changed once I started writing fluently. My songs took on a whole new meaning in my life. I started to notice a change in the way I was feeling about things. Writing music isn’t just a hobby for me, it is an expression of who I am. When I write I begin to feel things change in the atmosphere and the words I sing have brought breakthrough in my life and in the lives of others. I’ve noticed a sense of strength, courage, confidence and self worth come from doing what I was born to do. At the end of the day songwriting is my creative outlet that aids me in releasing my deepest feelings and thoughts.
Fun facts: I love taking risks and being adventurous. I get really happy when I see people fall in love. I love being goofy and making people laugh. I love to travel and see the way other people live. I like to say things that don’t make sense and keep repeating the same sentences. I sometimes randomly say things out of the blue that make no sense. Eating food makes me really happy. I like to keep things fresh in my life and I love to enjoy the outdoors. I absolutely love to learn no matter what the learning may be about.
