"Introducing Bel Heir"

After six years of name changes and member switches, Philadelphia’s Bel Heir finally seems to have it all figured out. The band has sleekly designed cover art, a sound reminiscent of current blog favorites The Neighbourhood and Sir Sly (the latter of which mixed two of the four released tracks), and a plan to release a single (A-side and B-side) on the first Tuesday of every month. This is simply quality rock music from a band that is ready to turn the corner. - Sunset in The Rearview

"Introducing Bel Heir"

People often say fortune favors the bold. In the case of Bel Heir, were hoping that’s true. The Philly alt-pop outfit have promised to digitally put out a single on the first Tuesday of every month for a full year. Last Tuesday they released their latest in the series, “Throw Me in the River.” Packed with a big chorus and some cascading drums, it’s by far their best work to date. Pulling influence from notable ATG favorites like The 1975, The Neighbourhood and Sir Sly, Bel Heir are primed for a big introduction to the music world. Keep a close eye on them and be sure to check out their subsequent monthly releases. In the meantime, stream “Throw Me in the River” below. - All Things Go

Bio

Bel Heir is a project that has existed for over 6 years. It has had several other names and several other members in the past. We feel we have finally reached a point where we can bring it to the public. The music created and presented has never felt more natural.

We have spent countless hours in a studio outside of Philadelphia developing and perfecting the sound we were looking for. We created an enormous amount of material and finally decided to release it, but in a different manner than many are used to today.

We will be digitally releasing a single on the first Tuesday of every month for a full year. As with the traditional 45 vinyl releases, each single will have an A-side and B-side (2 tracks). We hope you will join us on this journey.
