Bio
Belicose is the brain child of singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist Ali-Musa N. Kaba. Founded in 2016 while enrolled at Columbia College arts school in Chicago, Belicose set out as a solo artist after his first band dismantled. He realized at that time he'd have more consistency and less to deal with venturing out on his own. He received a loan from Columbia that he used to buy equipment for a studio and voila, he was back in business learning how to produce his songs. After a few months of daily reading and learning of these programs, Belicose felt comfortable enough to begin producing his many already written songs. The first of these was Togo, and song he released a few years later. Since then, he's been a part of the local Chicago scene playing behind other bands and artists as a guitarist learning how shows are put together, making connections, and meeting ofter musicians. He recently has put together his own group and is giving throughout the city while tackling social media and simply trying to make name for himself.
