Believe, My Shame is Columbus, Indiana’s biggest kept secret. With years of musical expertise and talent, BMS has begun to forge its name into the hearts and ears of their listeners.
Their acoustic driven rock lends itself to many environments. Believe, My Shame offers a wide variety of music that is sure to inspire many listeners young and old alike.
Dale Sechrest, a long-time local musician and area resident says:
“Believe, My Shame has their own style and sound…(they have) the full sound that does nothing shy of making them sail to the top with the other greats of the music kingdom. …You have more than a typical band… They have already touched the lives of many, and will continue to make a name for themselves.”
The men from BMS have diverse backgrounds, but one thing in common: music is a passion. And their lives and stories impact their music. The end result is a unique blend of rock, poetry, and faith.

Their experience continues to grow with every show. BMS has played in small venues like Jitters Coffee House and Wine Bar, The Edge at LifeGate, and the Solid Rock Cafe. They have also done large events such as the Watering Malawi Benefit in Richmond, Virginia and The Seven Project Youth Rally at Berean Bible Church in Columbus, Indiana.
John Hartman, the promoter for the Watering Malawi Benefit was amazed that Believe, My Shame traveled across the country to play at his show:
