Bio
I've always been inspired by artists such as The Whitlams and Crowded House because their lyrics work so perfectly with their unique melodies. They tell a story and that is my aim: to tell a story in every song I write. If only one person relates to my lyrics and is moved by their arrangement, I can be proud that I have achieved such an outcome. The musical process (finding inspiration, writing lyrics, creating a melody etc) is something I don't think I will ever stop learning from: it's possibilities are endless. The most important thing I like to keep in mind is to stay true to myself as an artist. I refuse to simply follow the musical trend of the day.
