The band had a busy summer, releasing a single track on the 1st of every month during June, July, and August, as a pay-what-you-want download. The 3 tracks will be gathered in a new EP released at the beginning of September. The final August 1st release is the song “Homies On The Block.” . It is a song about the gentricifation of New York City, where the band was born and raised, and how socioeconomic change affects everyone in the ladder, regardless of background. The recording sounds like a cross between modern day indie-pop bands like Passion Pit and Hot Chip, and classic groups such as the Kinks and the Sonics. BF will be releasing “Summer of Singles,” a new project where they release a single track on the 1st of every month during June, July, and August, as a pay-what-you-want download, that will culminate in a new EP featuring all the singles at the beginning of September.
They are kicking it off with our June 1st release of “In My Dreams (ur txting me).” It was produced and mixed by singer, Frans Mernick, and mastered at The Lodge by Joe Laporta (Vampire Weekend, Sleigh Bells, Morning Benders). - Insomnia Radio

Bellevue’s Finest might well be post-post-modern, which might make them pre-modern, or just plain old, if you take the logic to its conclusion I suppose. Bio
Hailing from New York City, Bellevue's Finest is a power-pop sextet with electro and post-punk influences. Drawing from the concise songwriting of 70’s era David Bowie and modern indie poppers like Hot Chip and Passion Pit, BF creates unique, gritty synth-pop grooves.
Since forming in 2008, Bellevue’s Finest has become a staple of the LES and Williamsburg scene, including a residency at Arlene’s Grocery, performances at Club NME showcases, and numerous gigs at acclaimed venues such as Webster Hall, The Annex, and Public Assembly. BF released their debut 10010 EP in early 2009.
