Aaron Hickman (105.3 THE BUZZ) recently showcased BELLJAR describing the band as "...not much else sounds like it. It's like you kidnapped all 4 members of tool, fed them raw mescaline, and made them parade around in womens underwear. That is what i hear and it is a beautiful sound!"

Belljar, the Atlanta based progressive/alternative dark rock band, employs a combination of acoustic guitar, fretless bass, tribal rhythms, electric guitar and the powerful vocals of Heidi Stauff. Belljar seeks to open a new level of creativity and inspiration for the commercial music audience as well as the discerning listener. In the short two years that Belljar has been together, they have opened up for DOKKEN and have shared the stage with many great local acts such as STATE OF MAN, FERVOR and CITY SLEEPS. BELLJAR's eclectic mix of songs provide their listeners with both soft, haunting, melodic and heavy, dark, progressive tones which give the band their original sound.

Currently we have several songs that are getting attention. "FLESH AND BONE" has been getting a lot of attention particularly because the the video the band put together for the song. The video can be viewed on their myspace site. "SLEEPER" is also been a hot song that Aaron Hickman played on 105.3 THE BUZZ recently. Our fans are begging us to play "FACE DOWN" at our shows more often. It was a song we had put aside for awhile but are bringing back again.
