You may not be familiar with the name BELLSAINT yet, but you have most definitely heard her music. From commercials to TV to film, the rising artist has a voice & sound that is unforgettable. Since her cover of REM's "Losing My Religion" reached #1 on Hype Machine, she has collaborated with iconic songwriters & producers in LA, causing rapidly growing buzz & praise from EXTRA TV, Elle, Galore Magazine, Refinery 29, & US Weekly, who calls BELLSAINT their "favorite new artist."

Biography

You may not be familiar with the name BELLSAINT now, but with a sound reminiscent of a modern-day Nancy Sinatra meets Sia and Adele, this siren is on the edge of becoming a household name. Having released haunting singles and powerhouse debuts as BeLL, the new single “Landmines” will be BELLSAINT's explosive debut.

While she may just be dipping her foot in the water of making a career out of being an artist, BELLSAINT is no stranger to music. BELLSAINT (Caroline Brooks) began polishing her craft and earned her stripes writing for other artists, including Natalie Imbruglia and The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue. In time, she collaborated with renowned producer/songwriters Giorgio Moroder (Daft Punk), Paul Williams (David Bowie, Daft Punk), David Hodges (Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera), & Rob Kleiner (Sia, Andra Day, Britney Spears, David Guetta), and has had songs placed in a Volkswagen Super Bowl commercial, ADIDAS ad, as well as popular TV shows like RiverdaleShameless, Netflix's The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, NBC's Rise, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little LiarsFamous in Love, and well as the title theme song for Tyler Perry's film Boo 2! A Madea Halloween.

Hot on the heels of her haunting cover of REM’s “Losing My Religion” (under the artist name BeLL) - which reached #1 on Hype Machine and earned her plenty of industry and blog buzz - BELLSAINT took another massive step forward with the sizzling original “Bang Bang (Remember My Name).” After her debut as an official SXSW artist playing the exclusive Grammy Museum showcase, the powerful song made it’s way into the trailer for Freeform’s Famous In Love and is still building her rapidly growing fanbase, gaining love from Extra TV & prompting Us Weekly to call BELLSAINT their favorite new artist.

Upon the release of her single "Karma," Refinery29 listed it as #3 on "The Best Song Lyrics of 2018 (So Far)", and Elle listed her as #6 on "The Best Songs of 2018 (So Far)." After playing a tour opening for Silento and sharing the stage with artists like Lord Huron, Ocean Park Standoff, and The Warbly Jets; word of BELLSAINT has spread like wildfire.

Always conscious of giving back (proceeds from “Losing My Religion” are being donated to the National Center for Victims of Crime), BELLSAINT spends her spare time volunteering as a coach at LA's Rock n' Roll Camp for Girls and teaching songwriting to at-risk youth girls at Awaken Arts.

Lyrics

Bang Bang (Remember My Name)"

Written By: Caroline Brooks,Tyler Shamy,Amit Ofir

Do you remember?
Used to take your time
When we kissed good night
‘Cause I do
You said forever
And I wanted to
Spend my days with you
But who knew?

You crossed the line
And then I lost my mind
Broken bottles, slammin doors
Is this love or war?
Had a good run
But our shadows, they’ve won
Is this how it’s gonna end?

Let’s go out with a bang bang bang
Boy remember my name name name
I wanna be the best you ever had
Until we’re raisin up the white flag
Let’s play play play
Let’s go out with a bang

So drink up that red wine
Let me stain your lips
With my cherry kiss
So you won’t forget

Can we press rewind?
Sing to me one last time
Send chills down my spine
Like when we met

Let’s cross the line
Push til I lose my mind
Take it back to summer nights
Fireworks ignite
Played a good game
So let’s pop the champagne
Is this how it's gonna end?

ooh ooh
We’ll go down in flames
Boy, remember my name
ooh ooh
We’ll go down in flames
Boy, remember my name

Landmines

Written By: Caroline Brooks,Garrison Starr,Adrianne Gonzalez

I always fall for the poetic liars
Faulty wires, sandcastles, and fairy tales
Deep down, I think it's all I deserve
Believing words will do what they say they will

Holding onto you is like guarding a grenade

Slow-dancing on land mines
It's only a matter of time
Oh but I can't resist, oh I can't resist
Slow-dancing on land mines
Love is a target
With my heart painted on it

I swim with sharks in the neon dark
I'm quick to make a joke
Stay too busy to fall apart

Can't talk about it
But I can put it in a song
Maybe no one will get it
But at least they'll sing along

Karma

Written By: Caroline Brooks,Rob Kleiner

Rumors everywhere
you’re not playing fair
It’s just a matter of time
Reputation is
Not an easy fix
You won’t make it out alive

Seems like we’re heading for a showdown
There’s no room for both of us in this town

Karma’s gonna get you, you
Karma’s gonna get you, you
Watch out, you’ll get what’s coming
Your number’s up, so hit the ground running
Karma’s gonna get you, you

Manic messages
I got the evidence
you’re a bully and a thief
No, no consequence
Cuz your daddy’s rich
you step all over everything

And now your game has finally run out
There’s no room for both of us in this town

Apologetic Eyes

Written By: Caroline Brooks,Kyle Moore,Jamie Sierota

You think I’m the sweetest
Well take it or leave it
There’s plenty of women for that
There’s not enough liquor to sweeten the bitter
And now you’re just making me laugh

Oh honey honey, bless your little heart
I bet it makes you nervous that I’m smart
I think you hate that I don’t fall apart
Baby don’t you know

Nobody wants
apologetic eyes
Who says I got
Sugar in my spine
If you want a pushover, I’m not your type
Think you like this smile just know these teeth can bite
Now look who’s got
Apologetic eyes

Don’t act like a puppy
You’re just not that lucky
I’m not what you think I should be
There’s not enough brandy to make me arm candy
So pick up the hints and you’ll see

Oh honey honey, bless your little heart
I bet it makes you nervous that I’m smart
I think you hate that I don’t fall apart
Baby don’t you know

Famous

Written By: Caroline Brooks,Adrianne Gonzalez,Garrison Starr

I wanna sell out my funeral
I wanna be homecoming queen
I don’t know if that’s natural
But I wanna be more than just me
I wanna be more than just me

Cuz I hate my job
And I’m bored with my life
I’m tired of my body
When I look in the mirror
I don’t wanna spend my birthday alone
Looking through pictures of people’s perfect lives on my phone

If I was famous
And everybody loved me, (loved me)
Maybe I would love me too
Maybe I would love me too
If I was famous
And everybody loved me (loved me)
Maybe I would love me
Maybe I would love me too
Cuz I really wanna love me too

If I was the person in the room
That everyone was lining up to talk to
Maybe I would like what I had to say
Maybe I would like what I had to say

It’s hard to admit
I sound weak when I say it out loud
Yeah I know it’s not the answer
Just let me pretend for a little while longer now
For a little while longer now

Sister (Little White Pills)

Written By: Caroline Brooks,Garrison Starr,Ryan Marrone

Everybody at this party,
Nobody saw black and blue all on her body
I know I’m not crazy
I know I’m not crazy
I know what I saw

I could see his eyes like thunder
Knew those little white pills would take him under
I know I’m not crazy
I know I’m not crazy
I know what I saw

Oh sister
You carry me, I carry you
Oh sister
Shout out the lies; can you hear the truth?
Oh sister
You carry me, I carry you
You carry me too

He’s got another thing coming
If he lays another hand on ya, he’ll be running
You don’t have to take it,
you don’t have to take it
You know what you saw

He thinks he's covering his tracks but he messed with the wrong girl
I’d take a bullet for you sister, you just say the word
You don’t have to take it,
You don’t have to take it
You know what you saw
