Ben Davis jr

Ben Davis, jr is an Americana/Alt. Country/Folk singer from Southeastern Ohio. He is a veteran of the stage, and at his young age is just getting things started. While performing live, Ben tells a wide variety of stories and plays his originals with all the heart-felt angst and intensity you would ever desire.

The music Bend Davis, jr plays is open, honest, and humorous. "I may sing a line that gets the audience to laugh, but what's cracking them up is tearing me apart inside." he said when asked about some of his lyrical content, "This is my only outlet to share my heartache and relieve myself of some of the weight that I carry.".

In March of 2013 Ben released "To My Gal In Oak Hill", a five song EP about one of his early romantic relationships, one that he says shaped him into the person he is today. The songs "How It All Fell Apart In Manpower Park" and "Ruth" have gained some radio exposure, and are promising to be songs that will stick. Ben is currently filming a music video for "How It All Fell Apart In Manpower Park" with Brad Jones, a fellow musician and filmmaker.

Ben is also planning for a 2013 release of his first full-length album which is a self-titled full band record. "I'm really excited to share this record with everyone and let you hear the intensity and variety the band brings into the picture!". The band is made up of Jacob Dunn a fellow singer/songwriter from Pomeroy, Ohio on the bass, Dustin Nash on lead guitar out of Middleport, Ohio, and Nate Sisson on the drums also out of Pomeroy, Ohio!
