A vibration of truth and words inscribed in a dope beat... She is described as a continuation of Hip Hop. Bentrice "Beni", (which french translation is "Blessed") Jusu, is a performer of her own rigor, and a woman defining her own lane. Intentional, painful sometimes, with a nice hint of slick, she brings a bounce that is familiar, but refreshingly new to today's Music. Influenced at age 9 by Jay-Z's storytelling, recalling when she sat on the edge of her parent's bed and rewrote all the lyrics to Hard Knock Life, she's developed her own cadence of syncopated word play. A truth well documented in story telling, with an eye gluing performance, Beni is an artist worth the double take and repeat.
