About a decade ago, while attending John Jay Middle School, Ben and Paul began playing Zeppelin and Hendrix tunes in Paul's basement. Bass players came and went, including Aaron, who lasted for one session. Cross River, as it was known left its mark on John Jay High School and the surrounding area, with searing solos and interesting originals. Paul went on to attend Hart School of Music and Ben attended Berklee in Boston. Five years later the band has formed again, with Aaron returning after almost a decade, bringing with him John Rhodes.
The band is worth seeing because the quality of musicianship is high. People are always impressed by our ability to play our instruments, and also enjoy our songwriting, I hope you will also!
