Benon and Vamposs met in 1999 during their A-Level Course at Namasagali College. As they begun to know each other better they discovered they both had a love for music though each with a different taste. Vamposs was into Reggae and Ragga Dancehall and Benon was into Hip Hop and R&B music.
In 2001 during their vacation, Benon and Vamposs saved some money and went to the studio to record their first song called "Keep on Dreaming" and From then on they have kept their dream alive and have never looked back.
The two have had a string of hits hits like “Nsazewo” “My Lady” “Mumuleete” “I Know” which have had a rapid rotation airplay both in Uganda and East Africa. Their Video for “Mumuleete” Was among the few African Videos selected to play on MTV Base Europe.
Benon and Vamposs’ latest single “I know” is pushing the duo to higher grounds. It is a song with a message that gives hope of a better tomorrow in everybody’s life regardless of what you do.
They were Nominated for Best R&B single in 2005 Uganda’s PAM Award and Best Group in The 2006 East Africa’s Kisima Awards and have Performed in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Sweden, Demark, Norway, Germany and several States in the U.S.A.
The sky is the limit for these two and they will continue doing what they love the most.
