Benyoro plays an electrifying take on traditional music from Mali, and features Yacouba Sissoko on kora, Sam Dickey on guitar, Patrice Blanchard on bass, Andy Algire on drums, Idrissa Kone on talking drum, and Luke Quaranta on djembe. Benyoro has performed at numerous venues and festivals including Manifestivus, the U.N. General Assembly, Brooklyn Bowl, Wesleyan University, City Winery, Joes Pub, Barbes, and Rockwood Music Hall. They have shared stages with artists such as Steel Pulse, Marcus Miller, Diblo Dibala, Toubab Krewe, Zongo Junction, and Barika.
