Bio
Three brothers from Montville, CT and one from RI. Donald, Dwayne Teddie Berry,
and Mike Johnson make up The Berry Brothers Band.
These four musicians have been playing instruments all their lives and performing together off and on throughout the last ten years. Together they compile a band of experienced musicians.
The band has a wide and varied range of talents. Donald, with his stunning blues and lead guitar rifts, lead vocals and harmonizing will astound you. He is an absolute professional with his style and command of a six and twelve string guitar. He is an experienced guitarist using many different styles but, originality is his forte. Donald is also a songwriter and composer and has written and recorded his songs with the band.
Dwayne is the lead vocalist, keyboard, and acoustic guitar player for the band. His creative lyrics and powerful vocals are the backbone of the bands strong harmonies and original sound. His acoustic guitar playing is rhythmic and his keyboard playing makes a solid addition to the bands sound, his influence is originality. Dwayne is also a songwriter and writes many of the bands originals which are performed live with the band.
Teddie is an accomplished bassist with an original style you have rarely, if ever seen. He compliments the bottom of the band with his soulful, funky, bass rifts, his unique style of thumpin and popin and his command of a bass guitar. Teddie is a professional bassist who also plays upright bass and sings harmony vocals in the band. He is influenced by originality, which can be seen and heard in his style of play.
Mike Johnson is the dynamic drummer for the band. His funky off beats, street beats, and jam style of play will keep you focused on his drumming. Mike is also an amazing musician and vocalist. His deep powerful singing and harmonizing will impress you. Mike can play other instruments as well but, is a seasoned musician on bass, keyboards, and drums. Mike is a writer and composer and has recently written for the band.
Together these four gentleman formed The BERRY BROTHERS BAND they have built quite a nice following and are considered by fans to be one of Connecticuts Premier Entertainment Services offering live entertainment for your patrons and guest
