Berry is a fierce pop/r&b singer from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. At 4 years old she re-named herself Berry because she didn't like her given name. If thats any indication of the independent spirit she'd grow up to be. Berry has always been one to experiment and live life, learning from her own mistakes.
A love to perform was a secret of hers, singing behind closed bedroom doors everyday after school. Berry's mom says that she had no idea that she even sung! Berry's senior year of High School she broke out of her shell and decided to pursue the dream she'd held under wraps. On a whim and a dream, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to attend Belmont University.
Living in Nashville, she's worked on performing and songwriting relentlessly. Berry delivers her songs with heart pumping emotion and a drive in her tone that can cut a room in half. She writes all of her own songs, influenced by past relationships, heartbreak, uncertainty, and confidence - the entire human experience. She writes with balls to the wall honesty.
Her unshakeable confidence, disciplined work ethic, and bravery to say whatever is on her mind makes Berry the flame she is.
Berry is influenced by mainstream pop, r&b, dance, alternative rock, and world music - from reggae beat to the drums of Africa to the spice of Latin America. Her taste in music and vast imagination to culminate genre's together is extraordinary. Her dream is to bring to life all the blood-pumping, sexy, emotional music she hears in her head - and create a visually explosive stage show. The greatest force in changing the world is music - and Berry is here to deliver.
