Bersativilidad - To Be Released Late 2008

Bersachi BIO
Born in Santiago de, Cuba and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan,
Bersachi represents a new wave of young Latin performers joining the Latin Music scene. Bersachi's story begins in Cuba.
At the age of 13, Bersachi decided to escape Cuba.
The lack of hope and expectations inspired Bersachi to fight for his freedom.
Bersachi ran away and made his way towards
Guantanamo Bay. After three days and nights of intense walking and swimming, Bersachi arrived to Guantanamo Bay alone, hungry, and with no energy.
But just to arrive to the US base, Bersachi had to cross a mind field before being caught by guards.

Bersachi was detained in Guantanamo Bay for one year.
After a year of detention, Bersachi was transferred to another US detention facility in Panama. During his stay in Panama, Celia Cruz and Willy Chirino
visited the detention facility.
One of Bersachi's most adored memories was when Celia Cruz hugged and kissed him, and told him "everything was going to be alright"
Those words gave Bersachi a sense of security and inspiration.
It is around this time that Bersachi embraced music.
He remembers singing traditional Cuban songs around camp sites,
and using pots and pans as his musical instruments.

At the age of 15, Bethany Christian Services found Bersachi foster parents in
Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Throughout a few years span, Bersachi experimented with different musical styles including, Hip Hop, R&B, Merengue, Kumbia, Bachata and Reggeaton.
These experiences and exposure to different musical styles have transformed Bersachi into the artist he is today.

Bersachi is a bilingual artist recognized for his unique vocal and song-writing abilities. Bersachi has shared the stage with some some of the biggest names in MUSIC including, Daddy Yankee, Julio Voltio, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Graciela Beltran, Xtreme, Domenic Marte, and most recently, was featured as the main opening act at
"The Latin Grammy Street Party" in Chicago.
30 Thousand plus were in attendance at the Grammy Street Party event.

Currently, Bersachi is fast at work to release his debut album via his
co-owned imprint "Limite Records"
The album will be entitled "Bersativilidad"
The tittle is evident of Bersachi's gift to to switch musical styles at will.
The future looks bright for this young and charismatic performer from Santiago de, Cuba.
