Beside Lights

Beside
Lights are a pop/rock band consisting of 19-24 year olds from Perth who are
best described as talented rock musicians that simply can’t resist the catchy
hooks of commercial pop, and thus they walk delicately along the tightrope
between the genres. Let’s face it, even the coolest dudes can’t help but sing
along to a catchy pop hook, just ask John Mayer (#TaylorSwift). Against
prediction, Beside Lights’ band members were some of the most talented musicians
to come out of the WA academy of performing arts (WAAPA), an institution
typical attended by the upper crust of musical society. Beside Lights performed in Toronto at Canadian Music Week and hope to continue gaining global exposure.

Beside Lights have over 2.65 million views on
YouTube and a total of over 32,000 followers on Facebook, YouTube
(subscribers) and other social media platforms. Beside Lights debut album was No.1
on the iTunes rock charts in 2012 and they have just released their second
album, Half Heart in October 2017. Their debut single ‘Run Run’ was picked up and promoted with live interviews
and performances on 92.9, 94.5 and 96fm (Southern Cross Austereo and Australian
Radio Network).
