BESTMAN is impassioned synthpop that blazes like an unruly bonfire on the beach. It’s the musical embodiment of a Jeep with no top or doors. Distinctly 80’s influenced without imitating; nostalgic without pandering, BESTMAN creates electronic music that reminds me of an amazing spring break I never actually experienced. It is warm digital, arranged to precision while feeling completely riotous, as if etched onto a wave. There is a complex weight to it compositionally as well as lyrically which gives this cut clout.
