The best kept secret in music

Press

"KINGS OF A&R"

"Addictive, hard-edged, power-pop influenced rock n' roll. Bridges the gap between modern rock (Matchbox 20, Marvelous 3, Goo Goo Dolls) and 80's arena rock (Bon Jovi, Cheap Trick)." - online

"CLEAR CHANNEL"

"Melodic, modern rock with great sing-along choruses that will stick in your head for days!" - NMN

"MUSIC CONNECTION"

"BEST OF SEVEN performs testosterone - fueled rock n roll!" - print

"CD Smash"

"The BO7 disc is solid front to back, not a weak track anywhere. Two singers come to mind when listening to BO7, first is Robin Zander and Jon Bon Jovi. I have played the CD through about 8 times now and I have a different favorite song every time!" - online

"GENE SIMMONS"

"The singer (Shane Tassart) is a star!" - KISS

"Electric Basement"

“If you can't revel in the beauty of a song like ‘Wonder,’ with its pure, unadulterated, pop rock power, it's likely you're in a coma or living in a cave somewhere in Afghanistan." - online

"Westwood One"

“TRUE RADIO-READY ROCK’N ROLL!” - Radio

"ON THE ROCKS"

"This four piece is dedicated to what is called Nu-Breed Rock. Their self titled CD is on par with the latest albums from well known relatives like Mars Electric, Goo Goo Dolls or The Marvelous 3. BEST OF SEVEN have all the talents to become the next big thing and you shouldn't miss the chance to be part of it!” - Print

"WWCT 105.7"

"If you've seen these guys before, you know what you're in for…If not, just hold on!" - Jason Lee

Bio

BEST OF SEVEN's Everything is New Again EP heralds the arrival of a naturally gifted band that places as much emphasis on songwriting smarts and brotherhood of the band as they do on flat out rock n' roll. Recorded at the world-famous Cherokee studios (Jimmy Eats World, Queens of the Stone Age, the Lemonheads, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, David Bowie, amongst others), Everything is New Again celebrates the magic of tight bonds, loose morals, and a summer in anywhere-but-here, small town middle America.

The band entered the studio in January 2004 with a collective mindset to faithfully (some might say obsessively) create an album that was equal parts trailer park and taking the piss on Park Avenue.

BEST OF SEVEN pulled off the impossible - creating an EP that captures the chaotic power and emotion of their live shows. Vintage, warm wall of guitar; cannon-like drums; thick, full bass; and vocals that bend needles all set the stage for an EP that is as pure as the live experience.

The EP demonstrates a passion for the energetic showmanship spawned from Cheap Trick and Marvelous 3, while maintaining the commercial sensibilities found in mainstream rock pop groups such as the Goo Goo Dolls and All American Rejects. One listen makes it clear why BEST OF SEVEN have won gushing music press from the likes of Music Connection, Clear Channel, and Kings of A&R for their songwriting smarts and unprocessed, raw sound.

BEST OF SEVEN are not only one of the best new line-ups ever to place foot on monitor, they are a real band - equally committed to one another as they are to the process of getting their music heard. The band has charted as high as #5 on Radiowaves Internet Radio Charts with hundreds of spins!
