Beth Vandal

Beth Vandal is an American singer, songwriter whose musical genre is in a category of its own. As a young girl she loved to make up songs with piano, guitar or just crazy, knee slapping songs; anything that came to her mind while recording it on her own toy tape recorder. Her mom was a news broadcaster for an Oldies station. When Beth went to work with her mom during the summer, she loved singing along to the Oldies. Growing up with the influences of oldies, punk rock, indie and pop, she has developed her own style of music.Creativity seems to flow from her fingers to her guitar and into her voice. She writes about personal things that have happened in her life, or other subjects in life true or false. Beth’s feelings and emotion is felt in her writings. Some songs have a twist of comedy and nonsense. Beth believes you’ve got to laugh and make jokes, it’s how she gets by.
Buying her first acoustic electric at the age of twelve, she learned the music of her youth by ear and like her father was totally self-taught in music. She later performed with local artists, developing punk bands. She fronted her first band called “More than Just a Mop” and played her first show at a local Central Florida Spring Fling. She then went on to develop her next punk band “Outnumbered” where she performed as the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and songwriter. She has continued to evolve in songwriting and continues to play live music. Beth enjoys creating her own music videos with costumes and strange characters that you can catch on Beth Vandal’s YouTube channel.She is recording music and videos as often as possible. She now performs shows locally as often as she can. From solo gigs at local coffee shops to late night bars and venues, she has a love for performing live and entertaining.
