Started writing when life got so crazy I figured "there has to be a song in this!" and have been writing ever since Thanks for stopping by to listen. I started writing a number of years back when life was so crazy I figured, "There has to be a song in this.".... I’ve been writing ever since. Most of my songs are inspired by real life situations and situations of social importance - with a special place in my heart for the struggles that teenagers face everyday.I WANT TO SAY A SPECIAL THANKS TO MY AWESOME CO-WRITER AND MUSIC -BIZ PARTNER, RICH HOWLAND. Rich and I were recently the POP WINNER (2nd place overall) for the 2009 SongDoor International Songwriting Competition with our song WHAT A KISS MEANS, with two other songs taking Honorable Mention. We were recent 2009-2010 recipients for an ASCAPLUS AWARD. We've had numerous other semi-finalist and honorable mention placements in the International Songwriting Competition, etc, We currently have songs on file with Disney, Nick Records and the American Red Cross, a contract with Crucial Music in LA, multiple publisher interest in NY and interest from several major labels. Rich and I have songs being recorded by artists in Florida, Louisiana, California, Germany, UK and Canada. Previously, 2 of our songs were signed to AudioBrain, NY/NBC Sports for use in the Bejing Olympics. My song, GROW SLOW, was co-written with Bob Dewald and it took first place in the country category of the SongDoor International Songwriting Contest, and has been a Top 5 Finalist in the CMT-NSAI Songwriting Competion, the Great American Song Contest, as well as a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition and most recently, the Music City Songwriting Competition. Song Placement 3X in CW TV Show - Plain Jane

TURN IT AROUND ON A DIME was placed 3 times! in the CW TV Show called Plain Jane, which aired Wednesdays August 4,11 and 25th, 2010. Pretty cool! The song already got re-run airplay and was featured in a Plain Jane promo clip on an ABC News interview with the show's host, Louise Roe.
