Beth Zaje….She’s the girl next door, or is she? You might think that if you knew her, but pretty soon she will be better known as a star on the rise. Beth spent her young singing career leading school choirs, musicals and acting in plays. Beth’s life changed fast. ‘Hang with Me’, her debut album that arrived to the public on July 18th, is already getting a lot of attention, as well as her debut music video for the song ‘BFF’. Beth is the most zestful, full of life, fearless of hard work teenagers you'll ever meet. She can't wait to roll up her sleeves and get her hands dirty. At the same time, she exudes the same warmth you would liken to being at grandma's house eating apple pie. Born and raised in little ol’ Gloversville, NY, Beth started working with local songsmith and musician Michael Bruce in 2009. Bruce was looking for a great young singer to market pop songs to other stars and Beth was looking to get out of singing from her bedroom in ‘Youtube’ clips. It was a perfect match and instead of just hiring Beth to sing tracks in the studio, Bruce decided he wanted to manage and begin Beth’s career. He knew there was a lot more to her than just a great voice. It was a presence that many refer to as the “It factor”.
Since 2009, the Beth Zaje world has been in the works. Every step has been patiently and carefully planned. A logo, internet sites, a professional backing band, live appearances, photos, a music video and most importantly, an album full of hit songs. Driven by Beth’s soaring vocals, “Hang with Me” is a collection of very clever, unforgettable melodic hooks that crossover the fields of pop, rock and country. Let’s just say, there is something for everyone. Beth and Bruce didn’t want an album where every song sounded exactly like the last. They wanted the listener to be intrigued from start to finish and there are no “filler” tracks. ‘Hang with Me’ was built to satisfy all ears that heard it!
