"Something good going on..."

"You guys definitely have something good going on with your music. I can hear the talent bursting the seams." - Becka Grey, DJ - KLYD RealRock 98.9

"You cannot deny..."

"You cannot "Deny" that Betrayed by Sorrow's After the Fall is a very tight
and well-put together album. No garage band sound here. Instead, you get a
well-polished ready for radio hard rock sound with lyrics that really speak
to the listener." - - Donnie Zee, Spider Radio, www.spideradio.com

Bio

Betrayed By Sorrow is a hard rock band out of Austin, Texas, founded by members Jon Vela and Rob Alaniz. The pulse pounding rhythm and hard driving, melodic guitars are complimented amazingly by strong and passionate vocals…with lyrics that are thought provoking and relatable to the listener. Overall, the integrity of their music presents them as a highly marketable and commercially viable band deserving to be heard. Unmistakably, they epitomize the definition of radio-friendly rock. Simply put, it’s…HARD ROCK YOU CAN UNDERSTAND!

Unlike most garage bands, Betrayed By Sorrow took a more business minded approach to their music and chose to enter the recording studio before ever playing out their first show. On the merits of just their sound, the band was rewarded with an invitation to play at the 2009 Texas Bayfest, along with rock artist, Vertical Horizon and Country artist, Tracy Lawrence. The time in the studio also helped to develop a tight and near flawless presentation by the band and after just two live performances the band has become a headliner in venues across Texas.

July 2009 saw the release of the band’s debut album, entitled After The Fall. It was produced by Craig Lawrence, at the Pirate Studio in Austin, TX, and Mastered by multi Grammy Award winning engineer, Rob Burrell. Less than two weeks after its release, the album has received regular rotation airplay on radio stations in Central Texas, most notably KLYD RealRock 98.9.

This hard rock band out of Austin, Texas, blends it all together in a seamless and very radio friendly way. The best way to describe them is HIGHLY MARKETABLE. They have a commercially viable sound that avoids the screaming nonsense and gives the listener hard rock they can understand and sing with. The lyrics are thought provoking and each song tells a significant story with heartfelt emotion. The passionate vocals are powerful, clear, and distinct. The music in itself is an adrenaline rush that pumps raw emotion into the listeners ears. This is an overall brilliant debut recording from a band on the verge of stardom and fame. Be on the lookout for these young and very talented rockers.
