"BETRAYED WITH A KISS FINDS TRUST"

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 14, 2005) – Betrayed With A Kiss (BWAK), the agro-metal outfit from the Indianapolis-area, is building trust with companies that enjoy their music and see their potential.

The band has solidified endorsement deals with Indiana-based D&D Manufacturing for their guitar picks, as well as Silvertone guitars, Samick guitars and Coffin Case guitar cases. Coffin Case’s cryptic gear is rocked by the likes of Slash, System Of A Down, Ice T’s Body Count, Damage Plan, Blasko, Rob Zombie, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Mastodon and Slipknot.

“For us it is a way to find new outlets for our music,” says Travis Crider, guitarist for BWAK. “But we try to tie in with companies that play a role in our lives and we trade links. I want to have a relationship with Coffin Case and Silvertone because I really like their product. That comes first.”

“We really enjoy the music BWAK cranks out,” added Mark Waelti of Coffin Case. “Their style, their artistic bent on things is exactly what we want to be a part of.”

The relationships have gone well beyond product use.

“We like getting an understanding of what these guys look for in an instrument,” says Tony Delarosa of Silvertone/Samick. “Of course we want them developing their craft on our instruments. At the same time, these guys represent a lot of talented end-users out there. And they can tell us exactly what they like or don’t like about a guitar.”

Guitarist Rob Mason and Crider have had relationship with San Francisco-based Dirtbag Apparel for a few years now. For them it adds to the vibe he seeks to create both off and on stage. And that is music to the ears of Dirtbag Vice President John Alves.

“Your music and your clothes help tell people who you are,” says Alves. “We like to do business with bands that have the energy and attitude that matches our clothing. We’re proud as hell to have BWAK stinking up some Dirtbag.”

Mason sees nothing but positive things coming from the partnerships the band has developed. One key is the connection the band gets with other artists who rock the same gear.

“It is about getting to understand on a parallel level what other musicians feel about their equipment,” he says. “You know they share the same feelings when just the right sound is coaxed out…that your tools are helping you tell your story to the world.”

Betrayed With A Kiss is based in Indiana and is currently working on their debut album schedules for release in early 2006. For more information, go to betrayedwithakiss.com. - www.mi2n.com

"2010 In Review"

Now that Haste the Day is breaking up, Indy has less of a claim to the title of Christian metal capital. Thank God (literally!) that Rob Mason's Betrayed With a Kiss is ready to fill the void.

Betrayed With A Kiss - BWAK

"Nashville Producer Review"

"I knew the moment I heard this band that they were going to be one of the superstar bands of the future. They are destined to have a huge hit record in the future with Jeremy's vocals. This is the band of the future with the vision to take their music all the way." - Robert Metzgar, Producer
(Elected into Producers Hall Of Fame in London for his work on the Johnny Cash Folsom Prison album with Bob Johnston at CBS.)

"Betrayed With A Kiss has been "Lionized""

From Roaring Lion Facebook

"Betrayed with a Kiss" has been captivating audiences for over 5 years with several albums worth of original songs to their name. With their song, "Hypocrite" currently at the #1 spot on Indiana's top rock and alternative station, X-103, BWAK is ready to step it up and take it to the next level.

From their MySpace, MySpace.com/btrayedwithakiss :

"Within the context of promotion, the written word is meaningless, the spoken word has no value. All that really matters is the quality of the song, the vision and conviction of the artist, and whether the combination of the three compels you. If you wish to know who we are, simply let go, listen and discover. We are many who speak with a single voice. We are a vision of the future. Through our music you shall know us. We are Betrayed With A Kiss."

So to you, Betrayed With a Kiss, we officially dub you #Lionized.

How does a relatively unknown underground metal band attract endorsement deals with companies like Roaring Lion Energy Drink, Dean Guitars, Minarik Guitars, Samick Corporation, Greg Bennett Guitars, Silvertone Guitars, Marshall Amplification, Korg, Randall Amplification, Digitech, Dirtbag Clothing, Curt Mangan Strings, Coffin Case and InTune Custom Guitar Picks? With catchy hooks, accessible melodies, a positive message and an incredibly energetic stage show.

Says one of the Artist Relations Representatives working directly with the band, "Their music hits all the right notes these days. They are certainly lined up to take over the Metal market in 2010."

Roaring Lion, for example, flew to Indianapolis, Indiana in August of 2009 from Los Angeles to see what all the fuss was about firsthand. When the show was over RLED's rep. was, by his own account, stunned by the performance. Betrayed With A Kiss walked away with an endorsement deal with RLED, which included their music being used in an RLED commercial.

Travis “Wrath” Crider and Rob "Lust" Mason formed Betrayed With A Kiss in late 2004. Both were members of a thrash metal band that was signed to Germany's Modern Music (Label) at the time.

Recalls Mason, "We felt very boxed in stylistically in that band. We were unable to anything too technical or not considered extremely aggressive. It was fine for the eight years I was in the band, but both Wrath and myself wanted to expand on our style to include more technical riffs and more melodic songs as time went on. When the band dissolved in 2004, we decided to move forward with BWAK."

Betrayed With A Kiss was formed with the idea that genre was unimportant. "We write music that moves us. If it's metal it's metal, if it's alternative rock it's alternative rock…you never really know what you’re going to get because we do not confine ourselves to one particular genre or style."

The end result of that approach speaks for itself: catchy, groove-oriented riffs, more hooks than you'll find in a fisherman's tackle box, conviction and energy.

From an industry insider:

Dear Jeremy,

My dad is having surgery on Tuesday. He is very ill. I spoke to him about your email and he immediately remembered you and the band. He really loves you guys. Dad has cancer Jeremy and he is having major surgery and will be down 6-8 weeks.

Here is what he said.” I knew the moment I heard this band that they were going to be one of the superstar bands of the future. They are destined to have a huge hit record in the future with Jeremy's vocals. This is the band of the future with the vision to take their music all the way."
Dad says you can quote him on that. He sends his best wishes and complete support for you and your music. Dad was recently elected into the Producers Hall Of Fame in London for his work on the Johnny Cash Folsom Prison album with Bob Johnston at CBS.
