Better Life is a newly emerging 5 piece Boston based Alt rock band formed from college students who attend a number of the major colleges in the area. Formed in early 2003 by original members Joe Canadas (bass), Brian Woytowich (guitar), and Morgan Sweet (drums), Better Life expanded its lineup with second guitarist Louis Polcari and lead singer Derek Almeida in early 2004. Better Life recently released their first studio EP/al;bum and can currently be seen playing shows in the greater Boston area.
Better Life brings together their love of music and forms it into something that is their own. Each member brings a different view to the picture. They come from different back grounds, such as Indie rock, Metal, Hardcore, R&B, 80 pop, etc... but meets on the common ground of alt rock. One vision stretched by their combined passions molds their music into something enjoyable for a large range of audience.
Better Life has played all over the Boston area including The Middle East Upstairs, Downstairs, and The Paradise Rock Club. Better Life continues to impress crowds with their fun and energetic live show along with their catchy, rocking songs.
